Singapore receives its first $16 million Koenigsegg Jesko - and the car is an incredible Swedish tribute!

There are lots of cool Christmas presents, but we would be hard pressed to think of something cooler than a new Koenigsegg Jesko. Though we were not fortunate enough to find a Jesko under our own Christmas tree, one lucky fellow in Singapore did get the ultimate hypercar in time for Christmas.

This delivery marks the fifteenth Jesko delivery worldwide, though it is notable for being the first right-hand drive Jesko delivered. Koenigsegg produces their flagship hypercar in both LHD and RHD configuration to accommodate all countries, but given the global LHD bias (which is reflected with better resale value for LHD cars), RHD Koenigseggs are a relative rarity. Unlike the largest RHD market, the United Kingdom, cars in Singapore must be RHD to be road registered. Thus, all four of the nation’s existing Koenigseggs are RHD, with this new Jesko becoming the fifth.

This Jesko is painted in Mellow Yellow, and it is the first Koenigsegg ever to use this shade. Mellow Yellow a multi-layer paint from the "Pearl” palette with an incredible richness and depth. It is an option costing approximately US$25,000 (SG$33,000). Though the car looks stunning in these photos, we are especially excited to see it photographed in the sunlight where the colour can truly sparkle.

Paying tribute to the Swedish origin of the car, it has Imperial Blue striping. Imperial Blue is a rich, dark blue paint from the “Metallic” colour palette. The Apex Stripe, Slingshot Stripe, Slipstream Stripe, and Pebble Beach Stripes are all painted in this blue, as are the carbon-ceramic brake calipers. The “Flag Option” was also selected, displaying the Swedish colours at the base of the car on each side (behind the front wheel) at a cost of $6,700.

In addition to all of the carbon fibre that comes standard on the Jesko (the front splitter, side skirts, and rear wing), this example is optioned with the AirCore Carbon Wheels, Carbon Wing Mirrors, and the Carbon Rear Intakes. This carbon fibre is not just for aesthetics, though. It is an incredibly strong material that offers weight savings, maximizing performance.

The interior is two-tone Desiato and Blueberry Alcantara with Blueberry Stitching in the Drift Pattern. There is Blueberry Leather in the centre of the steering wheel. The centre console and climate control vents are finished in Natural Aluminium trim and the car is optioned with the G-Force Meter.

Note there is a fabric wheel cover in this photo to protect it during transport/delivery

The cost of this Jesko, including options, is approximately 2.63 million euros (29.3 million Swedish crowns). At current exchange rates, this works out to approximately $3.83 million Singapore dollars. As of 2023, Singapore has a 320% tax on cars valued over $80,000. Thus, the tax bill on this Koenigsegg Jesko is more than SG$12.2 million, bringing the final price in Singapore to roughly SG$16 million. That’s quite the price for a car - but then again, this is no ordinary car!

The arrival of this Jesko bumps Singapore’s Koenigsegg count up to five: Agera S+ Medusa and three Agera RS, plus this Jesko Attack. Egg Registry would like to extend our thanks to the owner who has graciously provided us with these photos. He is a longtime Koenigsegg customer and we are excited for him to receive this wonderful car.

Let us know in the comments below what you think of this car! Are you a fan of the Swedish tribute spec? We certainly are!
