Country: United States
Left-Hand Drive
General History
Chassis #7142 is known as Agera XS "The King" and is one of just two examples of the XS specification. Delivered new as a US spec car in 2018, “The King” immediately stood out thanks to its unique specification, which features numerous bespoke details not seen on any other Agera RS.
During its early years, the car travelled extensively across Europe and North America. In June 2018, it was spotted in London, Zürich, and Milan before returning to the United States. The car quickly became a regular attendee at enthusiast gatherings and concours events, making appearances at Supercar Saturdays Florida, Prestige Imports Exotics and Espresso, DreamRide, Triple F "The Event", CF Charities Car Show, Concorso Ferrari & Friends, and the Miami Concours.
In 2019, “The King” was involved in an incident. The car was subsequently returned to Koenigsegg in Ängelholm, where it underwent a complete evaluation before returning to the United States in full factory-approved condition. Since then, it has continued to attend events across the East Coast and Florida. The car resides in Connecticut and gets enjoyed frequently.
Exterior Spec
This XS is finished in Karosserie Red, a bespoke paint containing gold metallic flakes, contrasted by exposed carbon fibre coated with a unique finish incorporating diamond dust, giving the carbon weave an unmistakable sparkle in direct sunlight. The car is equipped with the exclusive XS aerodynamic package, shared with only one other Agera, making it instantly recognisable among the production run. Christian von Koenigsegg's signature is displayed on the rear clamshell. The car rides on the AirCore Carbon wheels in its standard configuration, while it was also seen on winter tires featuring Vortex rims.
Interior Spec
The interior is upholstered in black Alcantara with contrasting red stitching throughout. A bespoke red exposed carbon fibre steering wheel serves as the centrepiece of the cabin, matching the exterior specification. The kingly theme is carried throughout the interior, with crown motifs embroidered into the headrests and an additional crown detailing painted onto the steering wheel.
