General History

#7126 is Regera TC2 (Test Car 2), and made its debut on the Koenigsegg stand at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show. It was the second Regera unveiled, #7114 having been revealed the year prior. A few weeks after its debut in Geneva, the car was on display at the New York International Auto Show before attending Monterey Car Week in the summer of 2016 and being displayed at The Quail. In August 2016, Top Gear published their experience with this Regera at the Koenigsegg factory and on the neighbouring runway. After this whirlwind of publicity in 2016, the car spent the next six years at the factory in Sweden, presumably used for testing. In 2022, #7126 re-emerged from the factory in a completely new spec. By late 2022, the rebuild had finished and the car was spotted at Carage Luzern in Switzerland in the possession of its new owner. Since then, the car has made a few public appearances, including in Gstaad in early January 2023. As of mid-2023, the car resides in Madrid, Spain with its owner.

Exterior Spec

When it debuted in 2016, this car was painted in Candy Apple Red. It featured a thin tapered exposed carbon stripe on the front bonnet and a carbon stripe down each side. It wore Tresex AirCore Carbon wheels. Both the brake calipers and wing mirrors were Candy Apple Red to match the body colour. This car underwent a re-spec in 2022. It is now painted in Piano Black and features thin red striping in multiple spots around the car to highlight the body lines and various air intakes. The wing mirrors are now Exposed Carbon, though the brake calipers remain red. The car still wears Tresex AirCore Carbon wheels.

Interior Spec

In its original spec, the interior of this car was Brown Leather with Grey Fabric on the insides of the seats. The centre console and air vents were clad in polished aluminium and carbon fibre. In the second and current iteration of this interior, everything has been changed. The entire interior is now covered with Lingonberry Leather with Desiato Stitching, with parts of the inside of the doors being changed to Exposed Carbon. The polished aluminium has been changed for black anodized aluminium and the infotainment system has been updated to the most recent technology (given the progress that has been made since 2016).
