General History

Chassis 7049 spent the first part of its life in the San Francisco area.  It was offerred for sale in 2010, and by the end of that year found a new home in the Pacific Northwest. The new owner had the car wrapped in a matte white finish and made other customizations, it also appeared on the owner’s socials and blog. It was later returned to its original configuration and sold again in mid 2013. It is located in southern California ever since. The car received the Twin Deck F1 wing and Edition-style winglets, as well as a satin black and orange livery prior to attending Car Week 2017. A few years later #7049 was upgraded with the Ghost Package and a custom Boden Autohaus exhaust.

Exterior Spec

This CCX is painted silver with a black rear center section and side model call-out panels. It had a clear carbon front splitter and Top Gear rear wing, exchanged for the F1 Twin Deck wing.  This car has polished eleven spoke wheels from the CCX Edition, only found on #7045 among the regular CCX’s.

For a time this car also sported a matte white full body wrap, leaving the black and carbon elements as is.  It was also fitted with a set of custom black HRE five spoke wheels which were likely passed on to #7045 in 2021. Furthermore, the windshield wiper was modified to park in a down-right position, rather than in the CCX's typical trademark center-up position.

After the sale this car has had these modifications undone. The custom HRE wheels were offered as part of its most recent sale, but the car was once again wearing eleven spoke wheels.

Interior Spec

The interior of this car is rather unspectacular, optioned with black leather and black alcantara seat inserts featuring constrasting silver stitching. Other details include an alcantara dashboard covering and a black leather covered center console section.  This car was the first Koengisegg to feature the new three-dial chrono instrument cluster.
