The production version of the Koenigsegg Gemera is here!

Today was the ribbon cutting ceremony for the brand new Gemera factory, with clients and dealer representatives flying in from around the world to attend. As part of the festivities, Koenigsegg unveiled the version of the Gemera that will be produced in the new factory. This version is heavily upgraded from the concept car unveiled in March 2020. So, what’s new?

Customers can now option the Gemera with a V8 engine, taken from the Jesko, which, when paired with hybrid motors, will produce 2300 horsepower on E85 (2750nm), resulting in a power to weight ratio versus 0,77:1 with the Tiny Friendly Giant engine. This $400k option allows customers to enjoy the 9-speed Light Speed Transmission and V8 noise on their daily commutes and grocery runs. The Inline 3 engine is still available for those who don’t splurge for the V8.

The Gemera also now has physical wing mirrors in place of cameras, specifically designed to accommodate regulations in markets such as the US.

The production Gemera can be optioned with the Ghost Package, adding a rear wing, extended front splitter, an S-duct, and other aerodynamic parts. In making the car more aggressive, this package reduces practicality by nixing the front trunk space.

Production for the Gemera is still quite a way away, but we anticipate early customers will receive them by 2025.
